The Earthquake

A Medinan surah of 8 verses, Az-Zalzalah describes the ultimate earthquake that will precede the Day of Judgment, when the earth will expose all that it contains.
Az-Zalzalah teaches that the earth will testify about everyone's actions, and that the smallest atom's weight of good or evil will be visible on that Day.
Teach your child that even the smallest good deed counts with Allah, by repeating the famous verse 'Whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it.'
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake
And the earth discharges its burdens1
And man says,1 "What is [wrong] with it?" -
That Day, it will report its news
Because your Lord has inspired [i.e., commanded] it.
That Day, the people will depart1 separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.
So whoever does an atom's weight1 of good will see it,
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
